Very often St. Petersburg is called “Venice of the North”. Yes, it’s the truth, it will remind you Venice. We have a lot of rivers and canals – to be exact 65 and 42 islands. The center of the city is situated on the islands, if you are not on an island - it means you are not in the center. Like in Venice the whole life of the city is connected with water: we used to have awful floods, we still have floods, may be not so strong, all the bridges across the main river are the draw bridges and you are to remember it, because not always you can cross the river. But at the same time water gives very, very! special charm to my city! | |
| Summer time probably the best way to examine the city is from water. The city will look different and very beautiful. I’m sure it’s the most enjoyable and romantic tour among all the tours in our city. And also I have to joint – we still don’t have any traffic jams on our rivers, so nothing will spoil your pleasure. | ||

The prolongation of such tour is usually 1 hour or 1,5 hours. The size of the boats is very different, if the smallest can take not more than 9 people (it’s perfect for 2, 3 or 4) the biggest one can take more than 30. The rout will be discussed with the captain at the very beginning and it will depend first of all on your wish but also on the level of water in our canals.
