Visa support.

Unfortunately till now every foreign person who is coming to Russia still needs an entry visa. Visa support is usually organized by the hotel where you make reservation, many of the hotels in St. Petersburg will offer visa support for free, others will charge for the service.

If you decided to stay in private apartments or on the board of your cruise ship I can provide you with Visa Support Letter. For this I need the following information:

  • the exact days of your being in Russia
  • your full name
  • your birthday
  • the number of your passport and its expiration date
  • your citizenship

After you get the Visa Support Letter (for some countries fax is enough, for others you will need the original document) you are to apply to the Russian Consulate in the place where you live. Normally you will need to provide the following items:

  • A Visa Support Letter
  • A completed visa application form
  • A valid passport
  • Two passport size pictures

For more detailed information see http://www.ruscon.org – the official site of Russian Consulate in New York or website of your local Russian Consulate.

NB! You are to register your visa and immigration card within three working days after arriving in Russia. In the hotels they will register you free.
